...so I go ahead and apply for my permit (which was quickly granted by the lovely Vonna)...and then I email the architect to set up a consultation appointment and this was her reply:
"I'm sorry, but I am currently too busy to work on this project for at least one month. Try back at the end of September. Perhaps I'll be able to work you in at that time. In the meanwhile drive around some other neighborhoods and see if there's something you like."
The end of September??? But I want to get started on planning NOW! Hmmph. Well, I guess I'll do as she suggested and drive around a bit. I guess it can't all be about me. :)
