Happy New Year to all! Groundbreaking begins this evening on my historical neighborhood. I had planned to start stitching last night, but my plans changed a bit when I realized my neighborhood was going to be
way too big for the frame I had purchased earlier in the year. Nothing like backwards planning there! When I purchased the frame with a 21" x 24" opening, I didn't have a specific project in mind, but when the MMIRR came along, I thought "perfect!"
What I've decided to do, instead, is to finish and frame each of my homes and lots, so I'll end up with a mobile community for a wall area. I'm still interested in doing a larger piece, but that's going to take
a lot more planning on my part! Plus, I want to be able to frame and live with the end result. I've decided on a pragmatic approach for now.
That said, please meet the first residents: the local clergy and his dog, his first parishioner from a neighboring home, and another neighbor's cow.
