Nah, it's not really a bridge too far but a bridge just right IMHO. Here's the latest progress on my Primitive New England Village - the addition of The Covered Bridge Sampler by Brightneedle (adapted to fit the project).
I've been lamenting the fact that I didn't start this on a larger piece of linen because of course I made last minute (uncharted) changes to the layout and now I can't fit everything in. LOL. I'm also having so much fun stitching it that I don't want it to end - kind of like a really good book, you know? So I'm thinking of doing something like Blackbird Designs did with Flea Market Souvenier and adding an extra panel. I can't claim the credit - it was my Mom's brilliant idea. She laughingly joked that I may wind up with a wall-size mural. LOL.

I love your little town so far. The covered bridge is very cute!
Oh, adding an extra panel is a great idea! Love how this is coming along :)
I love the church and the bridge! It's looking so good.
Looking fantastic Barb! I know what you mean about addicting, I'm enjoying mine but oh I have a lot of stitching to do! I think adding a panel would be just fine -no reason it wouldn't work. I hadn't seen that covered bridge pattern, need to mark that down....
Very nice!! I really like the covered bridge.
Little women!! Yay!! You know how l love them in stitchery, Barbara. Your town is wonderful. Hugs..
