So excited! My Jane Austen neighborhood

I have a neighborhood piece that I had started a long time ago that I will pick up on Jan 1 and continue with, but with all the buzz about these neighborhoods I'm going to have to start a second one. I just can't resist. I'm going to do a Jane Austen neighborhood - mixing elements from the Pride & Prejudice sampler series by The Stitching Parlor, the Jane Austen designs and quotes from Tanya The Sampler Girl, and adding in things appropriate to the time period like a stone church (all those happy endings!), carriages, English cottages and gardens, etc. Pride & Prejudice and Sense & Sensibility are 2 of my favorite movies and I think this will be a fun project. Now to start making a list of patterns I need, figuring my fabric, etc. I am having trouble concentrating on work today since this occurred to me - Vonna I think you are impacting the economy with this SAL!

Jeanne, how funny, I have been thinking and thinking of doing a Jane Austen neighborhood of my own!! I thought maybe I would be the only one ;) I looked at all the Stitching Parlour and Sampler Girl charts yesterday and can't get it out of my head! This will be so much fun - can't wait to see what you come up with!
